What would truly inclusive art look like?
Maybe, anyone could submit their work to the exhibition. The exhibition could be held in a free and accessible space. And then, maybe, most of the exhibited art could be rolled up and loaded into bags and baskets carried by any volunteer cyclists up for a laugh.
These cyclists could then cycle around the city flinging rolls of unique, original art (American paper boy style) at unsuspecting bystanders.
The Paper Girl project thought just that. Ignoring all preconceptions of the who should create art and who should own art, the team believes distribution should be entirely dependent on luck because you can’t buy luck.
